I am on 60mg of fluoxetine for a serotonin imbalance. I recently had an accident and was prescribed co co codamol 30/500 but it wasn't touching the pain. The dr has now prescribed me Tramadol 50mg tablets & I'm to take 1 or 2 four times a day. Problem is in the leaflet it says you shouldn't mix fluoxetine with Tramadol because it can cause serious side effects. I don't want to take the Tramadol now even though the pain is getting me down because of what I've read as I'm not sure it's safe to mix the 2.
