Whats the point of taking Anti-Psychotics?

I don't have Schizophrenia but I do suffer from Psychosis with occasional manic episodes and depression.I'm on 40mg Geodon and 15mg Remeron.The Remeron is a mood stabilizer which corrects a chemical imbalance by releasing more nor-epinephrine and serotonin.I learned that Geodon blocks both serotonin and dopamine receptors.I exercise which produces more endorphins.Now how am I supposed to get more serotonin and dopamine from Remeron and exercise when Geodon is blocking these receptors?...Geodon is helping control my manic attacks and does clarify thoughts but I still feel like I shouldn't take it if it's going to leave me emotionless...So whats the deal?
